Act fast: ’67 Volvo 122S
Okay, so nothing is perfect except maybe this Volvo 122S. We are no strangers to the 122S and this one just has no weakness that we can see from the detailed pictures. The dark green exterior with cognac interior was quite popular back then. The seats look great and were years ahead of other car seats of the period in comfort and support. The B18 engine is durable as ever and coupled to a 4-speed plus overdrive and you have a great highway cruiser.
All of the body panels on this one are bondo-free and original to the car. It has had only one repaint and just 2 owners – the last one since ’87. The interior is in great shape from an unused ashtray to a working Bendix radio. It is shod with period correct Michelin XWX tires in good condition. This is still a blank canvas for real Volvo fans. Should you go with vintage Panasports or body colored steelies? How many lights can we hang off the front? Where do we put the rally clocks and timers? Remember the Volvo ads from Ally Gargano back then? They said, “Drive it Like You Hate It”. We couldn’t agree more. This is one of the few collectible cars where you are encouraged to drive the heck out it. This is an auction and this seller knows what these ars can bring in this condition. This isn’t some tarted up Craigslist special. Click here for the auction.

As soon as I saw the picture, I knew: Cascadia.
The ad also references B18 engine, not B20, though I admit I don’t know how to tell the difference.
