Cool tow vehicle: ’67 Ford Fairlane
On quite a few occasions we have proclaimed our love of station wagons. And America builds the best, most interesting versions hands down. Just yesterday we featured a SAAB 96 wagon that was cute and we have championed a few Volvo 122S wagons along the way. Today, we have one of Ford’s mid-sized wagons based on the Fairlane chassis. It is powered by a 289 cid V8 with a C4 Automatic transmission. We are told it has only 47,000 original miles. It is also nice that this survivor has A/C and a working factory installed AM radio. Better than that, it has dual exhausts. If you have a vintage race car or a vintage travel trailer this one should be put squarely between your sites. The asking price is $11,000. Great find & opportunity to own one of these very rare survivors and in such original and cared for condition…
