The other end: ’65 Ford Mustang
Last week we featured a really neat, 1-owner, Shelby GT 350. One of our avid readers commented, “$145,000 for a Mustang!” Well this listing is for him (and us). We’re actually tempted to give this one a call ourselves. It looks like an honest, plain, Wimbledon White notchback Coupe. Plain except for the V-8 and factory 4-speed. That makes this one very interesting for someone who would love to build a replica of the Monte Carlo Rally Mustangs prepared by Holman and Moody and campaigned by Alan Mann Racing. No, it won’t be inexpensive but the finished product would be a real hoot. This one has a rebuilt motor of undetermined code. It looks pretty straight save for a rather large gap on the left front fender. The owner is asking $10,000 for this one in driver ready condition. Another $10 grand for the build? Maybe.
