Another nice one: ’64 Austin-Healey 3000 MK II
We have such affection for Big Healeys we can’t pass one up when we see one. A good one is one that has had a ton of someone else’s money poured into it. That’s not the only reason but it is a good place to start. We found this one on FerrariChat so it may belong to a multiple cool car owner who knows how to care for special cars. It is finished in a very popular Colorado Red with Black interior. The seller says no rust but as always, trust but verify. These are robust sports cars that offer lots of fun at this price point. We would pass on those Kurt Tanner restorations that cost $100 grand. It isn’t necessary. Just find a nice driver and do that with it…drive it. You won’t be disappointed and it is way less expensive than a Jaguar XKE and just as much fun. More so because it won’t kill you when you have to rebuild the motor. Click here for the listing.
