To regular folks, the Volvo 1800S will always be known as the car The Saint drove on TV. The Ferrari 308 will always be known as P.I Thomas Magnum’s borrowed ride. That one was Rosso Corsa and it was a GTS and not a Berlinetta like today’s featured car. Will the color, Giallo Fly Yellow, save it from the TV reference? We hope so. Let’s go on record by saying we prefer the GTB to the GTS for 2 reasons – we like the fluid look of the roofline in body color and this particular 308 has Webers and not Fuel Injection. Roar! Some of us need a Suburban, maybe even a heavy-duty 2500 version. We owned one once and going away for a 2-week road trip can max out all of the space. The 2500 version is a very capable heavy-duty vehicle and probably has a huge towing capacity. Now this one we found on Craigslist is out of the ordinary. It looks great in metallic green and the interior is said to be new. 
In 1971, the Bavaria, made exclusively for America, replaced the 2500/2800 models, but used the 2.8 L engine with some interior features stripped out to give a more attractive price. Guess who absolutely loved this model? Just about every car magazine road test editor. Less stuff means less weight and weight in cars, as in people, is a bad thing. 
The Honda 600 was the first “mass market” car sold by Honda. The N600 sedan was introduced to the US market in 1969, and the sportier Z600 coupe followed in 1971. According to a reliable Internet source, a total of 40,586 sedans and coupes were sold in the US for the 1970 thru 1972 model years, with the majority being sedans.
