Gladiator: ’65 Jeep Wagoneer
Before we had the Jeep Wagoneer with the fake wood adorning the flanks, we had the Jeep Wagoneer with a Gladiator front-end. This ’65 Jeep Wagoneer was built under the Kaiser-Jeep Corporation. The engine is a 230 cu in Tornado engine and it is the first overhead cam engine in an American car in ’65. The Gladiator front end treatment for the Wagoneer model only occurred in ’64 & ’65. The seller states that everything works including the AM radio! We like this seller already. It was repainted once in the original color and all of the glass is original to the truck too. Let’s come down to earth here – we are talking about an old Kaiser-era Wagoneer and not a rare Mercedes 300S Cabriolet so it isn’t so important that it has all original glass. But it does give the potential buyer some additional confidence that they are considering a really good vintage truck. And who doesn’t love an old vintage truck that still has a lot of life in it. We certainly do. And for $8500 how can you lose? Contact the seller by clicking here.
