PHS: ’69 Pontiac Firebird
This is our first Pontiac Firebird of this generation and it is a heartbreaker. The good kind of heartbreaker. It is an original California car wearing black plates and not wearing any rust or accident damage. It is powered by a 350ci V8 with 265hp and an automatic transmission. Perfect cruise car material. Would it be more fun if it were a standard shift? Maybe, maybe not. Depends on who buys it I guess. It is finished in Cameo white with a rare and beautiful Midnight Green interior and top. The Firebird sports some original Rally Wheels. Decor Group, console, tinted glass, power steering and brakes. All according to the PHS or Pontiac Historical Society. Every make needs to have a Historical Society. West Coast Classics is the seller and they are asking a reasonable $22,500 for it. Is this a good price compared to other ’69 Firebird Convertibles? A little bit high but we wouldn’t quibble too much ’cause we like green things. Click here for the eBay listing.
When I was a kid , I fell in love with a black on black 1968 Firebird coupe that belonged to a neighbor. It was a 4 spd and it was beautiful. Your 69 subject brought back the memories of that car. Thanks…
