A Chick Iverson Porsche: ’73 Porsche 911T
If you are going to be a Porsche dealer, why not be one in Newport Beach, California. And that is just what Chick Iverson did. Over the years, we’ve seen early Porsches that hail from Chick’s place and although that is a good birthing point, it doesn’t guarantee a great old Porsche. Today’s featured 911T is a late Mechanical fuel-injection car and that is a good thing. It is a 3-owner car with the last owner having possession for 28 years. The Porsche has been treated to a recent engine and transmission rebuild and previous to that, a windows-out respray in the original color. It is matching numbers and is equipped with date-coded Fuchs alloys. The Porsche comes with books, service records, manuals and tool kit. Just about the perfect scenario for an early 911. The interior does need a little attention. the seats look like a rebuild and recover is due and we don’t know what else unless we get eyes on it. Interior work isn’t inexpensive but cheaper than doing a engine rebuild! It has 3 days to go and it is at $38,000 already. If you are in the market, we suggest you get in the fun.
