The Cleaver’s Road Trip: ’64 Ford Country Wagon
It’s summer and we promised Wally and the Beaver we would take them on a road trip to Yosemite. We’ll need a roomy car with all the options and a powerful V-8 too. This ’64 Ford with a 352ci Thunderbird 4-barrel engine will do just fine. Today’s find is another “I wish we found it” kind of car. It has 68,000 miles, original paint and interior both in remarkable condition. The car survived with all of its documentation too. A really rare occurrence for a disposable car from the 1960s. Now before we pack up the car and head west, we would do a few things to make it better. The suspension will need to be redone top to bottom. And we would use whatever performance upgrades available without firming it up too much. Next we would make sure we have discs at least up front, a new brake master and booster. Of course electronic ignition, K&N air filter – the list goes on. We really like the styling of this model year and are happy that it isn’t the flashier Country Squire. And how about a roof rack in case we decide to take the dog with us? June and Ward Cleaver would approve. Go to the listing by clicking here.
I have seen cars by this seller before.
He even openly admits to several E-bay user I.D.s
All I can say :
He’s a real spray paint can artist, maybe a Graffiti entrepreneur .
The BIG question is always what is UNDER these layers of spray paint
