Moggie: ’35 Morgan Trike Super Sport
H.F.S. Morgan built a trike for himself way back in 1910. It was so successful that he began a Motor Company in his name. Fast forward to 2012 and the very same Morgan Company re-introduced the trike to the American market. But an original trike, like today’s Matchless powered ’35, is quite rare and an interesting collectible. This one has a 990cc water-cooled engine hanging out over the front wheels. Today’s version has a Harley-Davidson engine. The 3-wheeler Morgan is a welcome addition to almost any vintage car event. The rather crude or absence of weather equipment makes the owner/driver qualify for all sorts of special awards. Apart from the Matchless engine, the 3-wheeler is a straight-forward restoration. One just needs to be careful of the wood frame. Click here for the listing.
