2-Pedals: ’73 BMW 2002
The question here is whether having just 2-pedals ruins the character and charm of the BMW 2002. Most of us car geeks would say yes and walk away from this one. But there is a small population of fans of the 2002 that might prefer or require an automatic at a particular stage of their life. So here is what appears to be a very nice small bumper roundie in Sahara Beige. We like the way it looks and some of the typical fright areas of old Bimmers look particularly good. We are referring to the trunk and spare tire wheel well. The interior is very tidy but we must confess to not recognizing this particular cut & sew pattern or material choice. It was probably done by some local shop in non-original material. Since it is an automatic, we almost don’t care. It will never be as valuable as a 4-speed car in our opinion so the interior just doesn’t matter. It can still be a fun, useable classic that you can probably use every day weather permitting. It has a reasonable 85,000 miles. The seller is asking $14,500. Click here for the listing.
