Deep water: ’59 Porsche 356A 1600 Super
Who needs to own your own house when you could own this 356A Coupe instead. Somehow, I don’t think that argument will go over well at home. The 356A Coupe is a Mint favorite and we haven’t run across too many of them lately. They are expensive but they represent, to us, the purity of the original Porsche concept. It isn’t among the earliest Porsches so it has a bit of refinement to it. We just like ’em. This one is finished in the original color, Fjord Green. If you have ever been sailing on a Fjord, you know why they call it that. Fjords are really, really deep. The interior color goes beautifully with the exterior and it looks like it was done well when it was restored. This one has a really special option – a factory sunroof. The sunroof does cut down on the limited headroom but the added ability to let the sun shine in is worth it. The seller represents the owner who is asking $139,000. A few years, we would have thought it crazy. Today, if it is as nice as the pictures look, it is probably right on. Click here for the listing.
