Greek god: ’54 Cadillac Eldorado
The ’50s were times of prosperity and some say, wretched excess in the automobile business. Cars were huge and flashy. The flashier the better. One could not find a better example of this than our featured Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. Even the color names were out of this world – Apollo Gold. Today’s Eldorado is a stunning car. It is fully equipped with leather interior, power windows, top, steering, brakes and seats. The wire wheels finish things off with a flourish. Had Elvis hit it big in ’54 instead of ’56, he would have owned one just like it. According to Hagerty, this one could go for big money. Let’s assume it is near perfect making it a 1- or 2, then we could be looking at north of $100,000 for this one. And that’s without an Elvis ownership history. Click here for the eBay auction.
