Rarity: ’75 Fiat 131 Sedan
You are probably asking why is a Fiat 131 considered rare when Fiat built hundreds of thousands of them? Well, we hate to say this but they were built to return to the earth faster than a recyclable garbage bag. We know this for a fact because someone on our staff actually sold these new at a dealership in Brooklyn, New York. He has memories of unhappy customers returning with disintegrating interior components not long after they drove it home from the dealership. Despite that, they were fun to drive and had a very sporting flair to it. How this Fiat wound up in Staten Island is a mystery but it appears to have fallen in to good hands. You will note in the listing that the seller had a new interior installed. You will also note the difference in color from the original door panels to the new seats. Not even close. But it is an inexpensive old Fiat so who really cares. Fiat campaigned these in international rallies with some success. That’s what we would do with this jewel. For relatively little money, you could build a decent rally car out of it. One that no one at the rally, other than you, will have. How’s that for exclusivity! The Buy It Now is $5900. We didn’t bother consulting Hagerty because he probably doesn’t care. Click here for the listing.
