Barcolounger: ’65 Rambler American
We face a dilemma on occasion here at Mint. Sometimes a loyal reader and contributor will send us something that is kind of cool but we wouldn’t be in the market for it ourselves. Do we feature it or pass? Well, that depends. If it is unique, then there are probably other readers who will think it is cool. And we happen to know a guy who is mad about Ramblers – always has been and always will be. So this one is for Fred H. It is actually pretty cool and in unique condition for a throw-away Rambler economy car. It is a 2 owner car and the original owner, a nice lady we are told, specified the car very nicely. It has the big 6, an automatic and optional interior with reclining seats. It has covered only 64,000 miles and is in original condition. It looks real sporty and we are sure, as is the seller, you won’t see another one like it at the local Cars & Coffee. They are asking $12,500. Fred H., you can get it for less. We would like to thank Mark G. for the listing. Click here for the listing.
