Grampa’s Ford: ’55 Ford F100
There is absolutely no need to go into the history of a Ford F100 Pickup. In a nutshell, the F100 was the foundation Pickup for what will become Ford’s best selling vehicle most years. The seller is offering a family heirloom and that is hard for the seller to do we are sure. It is his (or hers) Grampa’s F100 pickup. It is an ex-farm truck with very low mileage and in original condition. The seller even has the original invoice stating what the options are on the truck. No, A/C and anti-lock brakes are not on the list. But electric wipers, a heater and turn signals are. We call that ’55 loaded! We are talking 42,000 miles on this truck and that is just amazing. Everything is said to be in working order and at no extra charge, the seller is including 58 years of accumulated farm dirt on the undercarriage. We say, bring it on.
