A curiosity: ’68 Chevrolet McNamee Coach Corporation Kamp King Koach “Van-A-Home”

How is that for a mouthful? So you were thinking about getting something vintage to take to the track on those weekends where camping makes more sense than a motel. We hear it’s loads of fun at night particularly at tracks like our local Lime Rock Park racetrack. We stumbled across this relic on Craigslist and thought it the most bizarre looking but sort of cool at the same time. We like the turquoise accents in the interior and the layout looks ideal. We did a little research and the seller has been trying to find this one a home since late October 2012. He was asking $5,000 then. Something must have happened to the Kamp King Coach market that we are unaware of because now he wants $15,000. Asking 3X as much is quite the selling strategy.
